After your surgery you will be required to wear a protective shield over your eyes for one week. Significant improvement in vision will be noticeable approximately one day following LASIK surgery. Although complications can occur with any surgery, there is usually little to no postoperative discomfort and some patients are able to return to daily activities the next day. There will be follow-up exams at 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year after the surgery. |
